Meet the Kelsmar Team:
Kelsmar’s two top executives are Margo Smith, President,
and Kelsey Murdoch, Secretary and Treasurer. They
oversee the operations of Kelsmar International in Canada
including the importation and distribution of Asian Palette
Puzzles. Margo has considerable administrative experience
working for both large and small businesses and organizations;
Kelsey brings to her position her many years’ experience
in purchasing and procurement in Calgary’s oil patch.
Kelsmar’s Asia Operations is headed by Maureen A. McLeod,
General Manager, and Raymond (Ray) McLeod,
Manager of Product Development and Marketing Manager. Both
are Canadian citizens and professional teachers and
communicators with strong international credentials. They have a
combined total of twenty years of living, working, traveling and
exploring in foreign countries, primarily in Asia, and are
currently based in Macau, People’s Republic of China.
Maureen, in addition to her international experience,
spent eleven years with a Canadian company selling into world
markets in Europe, Australia, Asia and the United States. She
has demonstrated her leadership and administrative skills in a
variety of responsible positions, most notably as Chairman of
the Board of the Calgary Public Library. Maureen’s writing
has been published in newspapers and magazines in Canada, the
United States and Japan.
Ray brings to Kelsmar’s business ventures his exceptional
organizational, communication and photographic skills. Among his
many achievements are organizing very successful local and
national conferences, conducting popular training sessions for
company executives and employees in Asia, and exercising his
leadership skills in various professional and volunteer
organizations. Ray has also conducted successful audio-visual
presentations in Canada, Japan, and China based on his extensive
slide photography collection.
